Ideal for performance builds, engine swaps, or upgrading restrictive factory intercoolers. This is not a bolt-on part. It requires fabrication and modification to install.
What Does an Intercooler Do?
When a turbo or supercharger compresses air, that air becomes hot. Hot air contains less oxygen, which reduces engine power and increases the risk of engine knock. An intercooler cools this compressed air before it enters the engine. Cooler air is denser and contains more oxygen, resulting in increased horsepower, more consistent power delivery, reduced engine strain, and lower intake air temperatures for safer high-boost operation.
For performance vehicles, an upgraded intercooler is essential when increasing boost pressure or chasing higher power figures.
